AACT is the only Russian producer and supplier of Su-31 sport aerobatic single-seaters and Su-29 flying trainers.
Su-29 and Su-31 are designed to provide the best results in aerobatic competitions. The mere fact that they have won 8 of 11 gold medals at the World Championship-2001 in Spain can serve as evidence of that. And if we also take into consideration the Air Olympic Games-2001, we can say that Su-31 pilots have won 16 of 22 gold medals.
Besides Su-31 and Su-29 are highly reliable. Their pilots can safely perform all the items of aerobatics, including normal, inverted and flat spin. The aerodynamic composition of the aircraft makes it possible to control them in any position, at any angle of attack. Just "step on the gas" and you will feel the controlling force of the prop, blowing on the fin-rudder and stabilizer-elevator units. Su-31 and Su-29 can't be demolished in the air by the dynamic head and overload, as their maximum design overload is 18 units and the maximum operation overload is only 12 units.
The composition of Su-31 and Su-29 has been perfected for 3 years in the space centrifuge by "Zvezda" Design Bureau. The composition is designed in a special way, so that a pilot can't be dazzled or lose consciousness because of overload during an aerobatic flight. This Design Bureau has also created a life-saving catapult system. It makes the ejection possible at any speed and height of flight, and moreover, as distinct from many other catapult systems the rescuing of Su-29 pilots is not consecutive, but simultaneous.
And the last point. The parts of Su-29 and Su-31 are made of compositional materials, titanium and high-grade steels. They are very durable and don't need any special servicing within 1250 hours of aerobatic and practice flight. The supply of spare parts and the repair of the damaged aircraft is also carried out by our company.
